John Yao & His 17-piece Instrument – 8pm John Yao & His 17-piece Instrument, draws from the tradition of contemporary big band jazz and uses serial and twelve-tone techniques to create a fresh and unique sound. Robert Sabin & Decimatio – 10:30pm Decimatio is an original ten-piece ensemble project begun by bassist and composer Robert Sabin in the beginning of 2013 to feature original music based loosely on Albert Camus’ The Plague and adaptations of Ennio Morricone’s lesser known film music.

8PM:: Carl Testa (solo bass and electronics) Carl Testa's music for solo bass and electronics incorporates live sampling and granular synthesis of the bass to create melodic and textural ambient music. 9PM:: Special Audio Screening of "Bridge I" & "Bridge II" by Desmond Knight Q&A with the composer afterwards. "Sentimental Parlour Music" is the debut album of composer/sound artist Desmond Knight. An avid armchair naturalist, he has spent many a day and night in far flung regions recording all manner of sound. Knight's singular catalogue of captured and found ephemeral sound is cut up and reassembled to form the broad world of "Bridge".
